Jeffrey A. Howell a.k.a Floss Jones Bio

Floss Jones is an up and coming artist that has been creating music since the age of 14. It was then he discovered that music was his calling. He grew up listening to legends such as Snoop Dog, Dr Dre, Ghetto Boyz, The Notorious BIG, Tupac, UGK, and Jay-Z.

Floss Jones explains that it was the old school Motown sound that influenced him. He reflects on listening to the stories in these songs. The Motown sound and story became a significant influence on the way he delivers the message to his audience. Even though his lyrics, charisma, and electric stage presence are masterful, he continues to be a student of the game. He has been instrumental in inspiring youth that desire to be true lyricist to embrace the art form and stay true to form. Floss has a northern, mid-west flavor, mixed with that K-Stuna Southern SwaGG(TM). This artist/song writer has the ability to free style that rivals the best on the planet. He has preformed with artist such as Nelly, Jay-Z, Cash Money, Young Jezzy, and others. Floss is not a newcomer to television as well, with several television ads to his credit.

Floss Jones caught the attention of Keith L. Miller (CEO of K-Stuna Records LLC) and well known business man in the Atlanta area, by walking into the King of Kutz barber shop and free styling in the presence of several clients and employees. Mr. Miller was moved by the performance and signed Floss Jones to K-Stuna Records a few months later. The artist known as the “Trump of Hip Hop” has major producers wanting to work with him. His smash hit single Red Carpet produced by childhood friend and rising powerhouse producer K.T. has received worldwide acclaim on media outlets such as MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Others have asked Floss what makes him the next big thing. He simply states "I put GOD FIRST and I am motivated by the unconditional love for my 4 year old daughter and my late father who passed away over a year ago". He cultivates his father’s spirit through his work and shows the world that hard work and persistence is the key to success and his legend.
